Under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Assyria University, the respected Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, the Department of Law organized a dialogue workshop on Wednesday, corresponding to 1/4/2023 under the title (Why do we study law) in which Mr. Dr. Muhammad Khudair al-Anbari, a lecturer in the Department of Law, presented the workshop. The law and its importance to societies and the reasons that motivate students to study it. The workshop was attended by a number of department professors and students.

In establishing Ashur University, we implemented a new vision of a quality academic institution in Iraq to supply the academic world with highly-skilled graduates in various disciplines of Science and Humanities. Since 2016, the university has obtained the permission of the Iraqi Council of Ministers to launch as an Iraqi university with a distinguished academic rigour that meets the standards of science and knowledge in the modern era thereby conforming to the vision of Iraqi civilization and its knowledge goals.
