Ashur University College adopts announced and implemented the policy of non-discrimination against women since its launch in 2017. This policy begins by stating that Ashur University College believes in gender equality and women’s empowerment are fundamental for the achievement of human rights and key to effective and sustainable development outcomes. This policy addresses women’s economic rights, including health rights, dignity and safety at work, and equitable distribution of property. In addition, the right to health and to non-discrimination against women in accessing it, including women’s reproductive health and rights. The global standards are applied for harassment in the workplace aiming at ending violence and harassment at work. Gender equality is also an aspiration that benefits all of society.
