Under the auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Assyria, the University, Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Abboud Al-Majidi, and the presence of the Associate Scientific Dean, Professor Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami, the Department of Pharmacy held on Tuesday 6/12/2022 a scientific workshop under the title (Choosing the journal Scopus or Clarvet to publish your research) prepared and presented (M. M. Muhammad Mortada Hussein), a teacher in the Department of Pharmacy. During the workshop, a detailed explanation took place on how to choose the two journals in publishing research, because these two journals have a wide spread among scientific and educational institutions and among researchers, and they are characterized by sobriety. The researcher also explained the method of sending the research and the time it takes In publishing, he added that universities rely on respected journals when evaluating research, which is part of the scientific promotion. The classification of universities also depends on the number of research published through these two journals or other respected journals.
The workshop was attended by a number of heads of departments, professors and researchers, and included a number of interventions and questions from the attendees.
