Under the patronage of the President of Ashur University (Professor Dr. Kadhum Abboud Al-Majidi), and under the direction of the Dean of the Faculty of Law (Professor Dr. Rana Salam Amanah), the Faculty of Law organized several workshops and seminars in the field of human rights / in commemoration of the martyrs of the Speicher massacre.
The Human Rights Department at the university, in cooperation with the Martyrs Foundation, presented a seminar entitled: “Appreciating the sacrifices of the martyrs is a social and moral responsibility: Speicher as a model.” It was prepared by the lecturer at the Faculty of Law (Ali Karim Alwan), and the seminar was presented by (Dr. Haider Al-Rikabi), Head of the Authorship and Publishing Department at the Martyrs Foundation, and (Mrs. Zainab Mazhar), Head of the Cultural Organizations Department at the Foundation, in the presence of a number of university and college professors and students.
