In the presence of the Dean of the University College of Ashur, the esteemed Assistant Professor Dr. Kazem Aboud Al-Majidi, and the Scientific Associate Professor Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami, the Department of Islamic Sciences at the College held a symposium on Tuesday, 4/26/2022, under the title (Violence against Women and Women’s Rights in Islam). The symposium was prepared by It was presented by Prof. Raya Khaled Naji, a lecturer in the Department of Islamic Sciences at the college. The lecture dealt with the impact of violence in all its forms on the life of women, their children, and society. Then, she touched on the rights that Islam guaranteed to women, considering that the Almighty God has honored women for their great role in terms of Raising generations, helping men, and many other things.
The symposium was attended by a number of department heads, teachers and students.
