Ashur University Participates in the Iraqi Orthopaedic Surgeons Association Conference

The conference of the Iraqi Orthopaedic Surgeons Association was held at the Babylon Rotana Hotel conference hall on October 1–2, 2026. The event was attended by a distinguished group of consultants and orthopaedic surgeons from Baghdad and all Iraqi governorates, aiming to advance medical education and practice across Iraqi universities and both public and private teaching hospitals. Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Khuzai, representing Ashur University and Ashur Teaching Hospital, participated in the scientific proceedings and was honored with the 2026 Iraqi Orthopaedic Surgeons Association Award (Plaque). Special thanks are extended to Professor Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Al-Majidi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Dr. Kadhim Abboud Al-Majidi, President of Ashur University, for their valuable scientific and educational support of medical and scientific conferences, thereby serving the cause of education in Baghdad and the Iraqi people.
