Powiślańska Academy of Applied Sciences, together with its international partner universities, is looking for academic staff interested in contributing to two collaborative international courses:
About the initiative
The aim is to create fully online, semester-long international courses, jointly delivered by academics from universities across different countries.
Each participating lecturer will contribute a small part of the course, while students from all participating universities will have the opportunity to attend the entire course and benefit from the expertise and perspectives of an international group of academics.
Participating lecturers are invited to:
The sessions will be scheduled throughout the semester, so lecturers will only be responsible for their own allocated teaching slot.
By contributing only 2 × 45 minutes of teaching, each participating institution can offer its students access to the complete international course, including sessions delivered by academics representing universities from different countries.
The courses are intended to provide students with international and comparative perspectives, exposure to different academic and professional approaches, and an opportunity to study alongside students from other countries.
We are working towards offering the courses with ECTS recognition and an English-language micro-credential confirming successful completion, subject to the relevant institutional arrangements.
The initiative is based on mutual academic cooperation and exchange of teaching expertise. Therefore, no individual teaching remuneration is foreseen.
Instead, each participating university contributes a limited number of teaching hours and, in return, gains access to the complete course for its students.
We welcome academics specializing in areas related to:
International Business – including, but not limited to, international management, marketing, economics, finance, entrepreneurship, intercultural management, HR, sustainability, digital transformation, and international trade.
International Nursing – including, but not limited to, nursing practice, public health, healthcare systems, patient safety, health promotion, clinical practice, nursing education, digital health, intercultural care, and current challenges in healthcare.
To express your interest, please fill in the application form.
Join us in creating an international classroom connecting academics and students across countries – without the need to travel.
