الجلسة الثالثة لمجلس جامعة آشور

The Ashur University Council held its third session for the 2025-2026 academic year, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Kadhim Aboud Al-Majidi, and attended by the esteemed members of the Council.

At the beginning of the session, the Council President welcomed Dr. Zainab Abdul Hussein Hamdan, congratulating her on assuming the deanship of the College of Arts. He also thanked Dr. Nahida Hussein Ali for her efforts during her tenure as Dean. The Council President then issued the following directives:

1- Continued supervision and monitoring of examination halls and invigilators to prevent cheating.

2- Completion of the first semester examination results for the 2025-2026 academic year for all levels above the first year as quickly as possible.

3- Finalization of the second semester class schedules for all levels above the first year.

4- Monitoring student absences and submitting preliminary and final warning lists, as well as lists of failing grades for first-year students, along with the relevant orders, according to the official deadlines. 5- Providing the university administration with the teaching assignments for the second semester for students beyond the first year.

6- Completing the paper and electronic master sheets and submitting them to the Registration Department for previous academic years by the specified deadline.

7- Adhering to the updated academic calendar, especially for first-year students for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Following the directives and observations of the esteemed Chairman of the Council, the topics on the agenda were discussed, and appropriate decisions were made.

At the end of the session, the Chairman of the Council thanked the attendees for their interaction and participation in discussing the topics presented.
