Since its establishment, Ashur University has been committed to keeping pace with scientific advancements and expanding its academic programs to meet societal and labor market needs. Based on this commitment, the Department of Biomedical Engineering Technology was launched in the 2020-2021 academic year to serve as a promising scientific institution for preparing biomedical engineers specializing in the design, development, and maintenance of medical devices. These engineers will possess the expertise, scientific and practical knowledge, and skills required by the job market. This is achieved through the adoption of the latest teaching and learning methods, the provision of modern laboratories, a distinguished faculty, and a university environment that fosters success and creativity. Furthermore, the department is dedicated to expanding scientific and academic collaboration both locally and internationally.
