The Law Department at the College, in cooperation with the Permanent National Committee for International Humanitarian Law, held a workshop entitled
(Mechanisms for applying international humanitarian law and the categories protected by it)
Present at the workshop, Dr. Hussein Rahman Al-Fadhili, member of the Permanent Committee of International Humanitarian Law and Head of the Law Department at the College, Prof. Dr. Rana Salam Amanah, attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Qassem Al-Lami and a number of heads of departments, teachers and students
It included two axes, the first being the mechanisms of applying international humanitarian law and the difference between it and international human rights law
The second axis is the categories covered by the protection of international humanitarian law
At the end of the workshop, the lecturer answered the questions of the attendees
Then the assistant professor presented the lecturer with a certificate of appreciation for his efforts in preparing and presenting the lecture
