Dear students, welcome to the College of Engineering Technology at Ashur University.

The College of Engineering Technology at Ashur University was established following the transformation of Ashur University College into Ashur University, based on the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on September 5, 2023. It comprises the following engineering technology departments:

1- Department of Biomedical Engineering Technology

2- Department of Computer Engineering Technology

3- Department of Building and Construction Engineering Technology

4- Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Technology

5- Department of Communications Engineering Technology

6- Department of Electrical Engineering Technology

7- Department of Health Physics and Radiation Therapy Engineering Technology

The college strives to prepare highly qualified engineering technicians with advanced education, technical training, and the necessary skills in their respective fields, making them ready for the job market. This is achieved through the adoption of the latest teaching and learning methods, the provision of specialized scientific laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art educational equipment from leading international manufacturers, and a stimulating university learning environment conducive to success and excellence. The program of study at the college is four academic years, during which students receive theoretical and practical instruction in their field of specialization. Students also receive structured training during the second and third years, during the summer break, at specialized institutions. Graduates of the college are awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology and are eligible to apply for membership in the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate.
