Mission and Objectives Central Promotions Committee
Mission
Excellence in completing the transactions for granting scientific titles and scientific promotion to teaching staff at Ashur University in accordance with the applicable instructions and controls, and activating ways of cooperation with the Central Scientific Promotions Committee at Al-Mustansiriya University on the basis of twinning work.
Objectives
1- Preparing and providing all Ashur University teachers with instructions and controls for granting academic titles and obtaining academic promotion.
2- Auditing the transactions referred to the committee to grant an academic title and obtain an academic promotion in a transparent manner for all specializations.
3- Evaluating research and scientific products presented by teachers in accordance with instructions and controls in an optimal manner.
4- Developing work prospects and following up on the completion of promotion transactions with the Central Scientific Promotions Committee at Al-Mustansiriya University on the basis of twinning.
5- Documenting the committee’s work and archiving it electronically.
In establishing Ashur University, we implemented a new vision of a quality academic institution in Iraq to supply the academic world with highly-skilled graduates in various disciplines of Science and Humanities. Since 2016, the university has obtained the permission of the Iraqi Council of Ministers to launch as an Iraqi university with a distinguished academic rigour that meets the standards of science and knowledge in the modern era thereby conforming to the vision of Iraqi civilization and its knowledge goals.
